Marigold Summer Wedding at The Swanner House

Guests arrived in the courtyard of The Swanner House for Alexa and Blake’s wedding on a beautiful San Juan summer day. Handwritten notes were shared in the bride and groom’s guest book and gifts were dropped off at the welcome table, then everyone headed to the lawn for the ceremony where white flowers and greenery decorated the space. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Alexa. In front of all their closest friends and family, Alexa and Blake read their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Back in the courtyard, tray passed Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Franks and Gorgonzola and Caramelized Onion Bruschetta made their rounds to hungry guests. The bar served up beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature drinks; Ranch Water and Aperol Spritz. Everyone mixed and mingled while the bride and groom posed for photos together as husband and wife, and just as the sun began to set, it was time for the reception.

Marigold colored napkins and gold accents topped each table set under string lights. Blake and Alexa made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Bourbon Horseradish, Green Beans Almondine, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, Warm Skillet Cornbread and Caesar Salad were served while guests shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. Champagne flutes clinked in the air after each speech, then it was time for the cake cutting and dessert. The couple shared a bite of their personal wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best moves out on the dance floor and sharing their well wishes with the newlyweds.
